Solitude Mountain Resort's Ski Patrol offers avalanche dog demonstrations throughout the season.
These specialized and highly trained dogs are used for search and rescue throughout the Wasatch front. Solitude´s five dogs provide an amazing service to our guests in safety efforts.
Avalanche Dog Demo-
Watch & learn "mock" avalanche drill where Solitude's certified search and rescue dogs and Solitude Ski Patrol seek out people buried in the snow.
Throughout the season, Ski Patrol will schedule demonstrations of how the dogs help in rescue efforts.
