Terrain Park
A lot of resorts have terrain parks these days. And, most of the parks are jammed packed with skiers and riders spinning and jibbing off everything in site. It can be quite intimidating if you've never experienced one before. We've found an answer...
Solitude has a new "family-friendly" terrain park designed with fun in mind for everyone. The goal of the park is to have an area where everyone ? skier or snowboarder, young or old, first timer or veteran ? feels welcome. Features are all snow-based (no steel structures) and crafted to offer a manageable size for all riders.
In the park you'll currently find two table-tops, each of them with a different take off. A 15' fun-box, two small hips and two different sets of rollers. One set of rollers is smaller for the little ones and the other is a little larger and perfect for perfecting your switch landings.

Where is it located?
The park is located near the intersection of Main Street, Fluid Drive, and Fleet Street. The park is accessible from the Powderhorn, Apex, Moonbeam, and Eagle Express lifts.
When is it open?
The park is currently open for the season and will remain open on a weather- and safety-permitting basis. It is a work in progress and features in the park may be added or removed throughout the remainder of the season.
Who should ride in the park?
Please note, that although the park is aimed at beginning or aspiring park riders, those who enter should generally be an advanced-intermediate all-mountain skier/rider or better. While it is aimed to make a varied group of skiers and snowboarders feel welcome, the park is not recommended for true beginning snowsports enthusiasts. Remember, skiing and snowboarding are inherently dangerous; please ride within your ability.
