The Whistler Children's Art Festival brings together emerging and professional artists, artisans and performers to share their skills with Whistler kids and families. The outdoor festival features a multitude of arts and crafts workshops, wild main stage performances, zany roving characters and free activities
As well as workshops for kids aged 5 to 11, the Festival includes a pre-school area for children aged 3-5, intermediate workshops for kids in grade 7 and 8 and workshops for the whole family. Daily workshops included Bear Paw Print T-Shirts, Paddle Carving, Fairy Houses, Musical Theatre, Lego Building Competitions and more.
The 2007 Festival brought Rick Scott, Ache Brasil, the Ta Daa Lady and Zany Zack to Creekside, just to name a few. The goal of the festival is to expose children to a variety of artistic mediums and work directly with professional artists, artisans and performers.
