* Wake Up Your Possibilities!
3-9 p.m. at Maroon Bells Lodge at the T-Lazy-7 Ranch, 3129 Maroon Creek Rd, Aspen, CO. Peaceful Blue Planet, in cooperation with Let This Be A Voice, The Peace Cloth and our organizers, have created an event at the Maroon Bells Lodge / T Lazy 7 Ranch. It will feature Dr. Robert Fuller. You may remember his name from his work with Jimmy Carter, John Denver, and Werner Erhard on the Hunger Project. He has recently embarked on a new project involving the Politics of Dignity. His two new books, All Rise and Sombodies and Nobodies have the potential to change the way that we look at our relationship with each other and the world. Other speakers include Rev. Keith Perry and Chris Collins. Gourmet meal served at 6 p.m. Entertainment will include a special performance featuring Jeff Pine.Tickets are $65 before August 1, $75 after August 1. * Its Easy Being Green
Workshop #1: 10-11am and #2: 11-12 noon Attend one or both. An interactive workshop on living more lightly on the planet. Displays, demonstrations and your own ideas welcome. Bring some junk mail and well help you recycle it into a beautiful note or gift card. Lots of prizes for your best new idea contest. Meet a genuine Kermit the Muppet. Workshop moderated by Eartha Steward (actually several people) of the High Country Conservation Center. Free booklet of Earthas best columns published by Colorado Mountain News Media in last several years. $5 sugggested donation for one workshop; $8 for both. Limit 40 per workshop. * Friends with You Concert
Aspen Community Church, 7 p.m., $15 per person. Contact Sharon Cormican. The Friends with You Band will be doing their 4th annual concert at the Aspen Community Church. They will be joined again this year, by Mark Nelson (aka Button Boy) on Zendrum and the super-talented Bill Powell on piano. There will be a few surprises in store this year and we're expecting another packed house so get your tickets early and come join in the fun.

* Concert by Steve and Cindy Gillette
Aspen Community Church, 2 p.m. The concert will feature Steve Gillette and his wife, Cindy Mangson. (Steve Gillette was the co-writer of Darcy Farrow.) Ellen Stapenhorst will open. Join us at the PINE CREEK COOKHOUSE in Ashcroft, CO, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for a concert by the Friends With You Band, a special buffet lunch, and the PREMIER OF A NEW DVD of JOHN DENVER FILM FOOTAGE from award winning film producer, John Wilcox. The new DVD will include footage of John Denver singing "The Gold And Beyond" from the 1984 Winter Olympics! This new DVD will only be available at the event. This year's theme: "COMING TOGETHER IN HARMONY" (celebrating common goals, music and events that bring people, and nations, closer together). Tickets: $50 per person.
