Are you or someone you know a die-hard chocoholic? Would you like a day to indulge in melt-in-your-mouth treats? If your answer is yes, you wont want to miss A Chocolate Affaire at Seven Springs Mountain Resort on Sat., Sept. 20.
The festival features chocolatiers with wares to sample and purchase, a flowing fountain of melted chocolate, a childrens activities area, pony rides, ice cream sampling, musical entertainment, an ice cream eating contest, chocolate martinis and more! Champion Massage & Spa Services will have a booth at the festival and will feature chocolate spa services at their location. Spa treats include a Whipped Cocoa Wrap, Hot Stone Cocoa Oil Massage or a Cocoa Oil Massage. There is something for the chocoholic in everyone.
If you think you have the best chocolate chip cookie recipe around, enter the bake-off. An entry form is available by clicking here or call 866-703-7625. Each contestant will be assessed an entry fee of $10 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting a local charity. First prize is $100, second is $75 and third is $50, so preheat your oven and see if you can win!
Chocolate lovers and health fanatics, join us for the third annual Chocolate 5K Trail Walk/Run! The event takes place on top of the mountain, beginning and ending at Lake Tahoe Lodge. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the race to start at 9 a.m. If you pre-register by Wed., Sept. 10, your $15 registration fee will include an event t-shirt.
