Whitefish Mountain Resort
Montana
Located in the northwest corner of the state, Whitefish Mountain is one of Montana's largest ski areas, with more than 3,000 skiable acres, 2,500 vertical feet, 335 inches average annual snowfall and Montana-style family fun.
Whitefish Mountain offers a full service alpine village accommodating 1,600 people in a beautiful setting.
From the summit of the mountain, skiers enjoy views of the peaks of Glacier National Park, the Canadian Rockies and the entire Flathead Valley.
And most Snowboarders agree ... Whitefish Mountain's terrain is a natural playground! There's enough groomed runs for serious carving and tons of off piste terrain to keep even the experts busy.
More than 50 years ago, the ski pioneers of Whitefish, Montana trudged up the local "big mountain" for one, sweet run through Montana's legendary snow. Their laughter echoed through the mountains and into town.
High-speed quads now make climbing Whitefish Mountain a little easier, but the same quiet space and fresh exhilaration of this beautiful place still has us laughing all the way down the mountain. Whitefish Mountain draws adventurous folks from all over the world.
