(The average adult takes 2 to 4 two and a half hour workshops and independent practice to move into the Advanced Skier Zone.)
Moguls, Powder And All Mountain Workshops! - $58
Smaller bumps, shorter powder runs, more open terrain and lots of instruction for skiers somewhat new to off trail skiing as well as skiers who just need more practice and feedback before moving up to more challenging situations. Many skiers enjoy taking this level over and over, continuing to improve in small increments and enjoying the social aspects and the instructional focus and intensity inherent. Moving to the next level takes some athleticism and time commitment to experience the variety of conditions the mountain can present to a skier.

  • Advanced-Expert Workshops
Moguls, Powder And All Mountain Workshops - $58
Bigger bumps, long powder runs, some trees and tricky traverses. Explore the most of Alta, find the best stashes and improve your finesse in challenging situations. This level of skier can commit to long black diamond descents in variable conditions. Instruction tends to come in the form of specific personal feedback relative to a specific skiing situation, versus a group progression. Moving to the next level demands athleticism, fitness, courage, and much experience with the mountain.

    Diamond Challenge Workshop! - $58
Ski anywhere and everywhere at Alta. Expect to hike at least a little, ski some chutes, trees, big bumps and runs not to be found on the map. This level of skier is quite skilled, comfortable with steep exposures and has at least a recreational athletic level of physical fitness. Your guide will provide a few specific pointers along the way.

    - ADVANCED WORKSHOP INFO
2 1/2 Hour Workshop // 1:30 pm - 4 pm // Workshop meets at the Mid-mountain Meeting place // Please arrive 10 minutes early to meet your instructor // Maximum of 7 skiers per group
