Red Mountain Resort
British Columbia
NEW FOR 2008-2009
Red recently started a 15-year resort development effort that will provide up to 1,400 ski-in/ski-out resort residences as well as a host of restaurants, retail shops and other commercial services and on-mountain family-oriented activities at the base of Red. Red has already expanded its on-mountain Paradise Lodge and installed the "Red Carpet" lift for beginner skiers and riders, and it is currently planning a new, 300-acre beginner ski area which will be the first expansion into 2,600 of future ski terrain at Red Mountain Resort.

Construction will continue this summer on Slalom Creek, a 150,000-square-foot, 2-building luxury condominium project being created at Red's base area. This development will pour $35 million into the local economy, and will be the first phase of a revitalized Red Mountain Resort.
